Producing

Project support at ARRI Film & TV I commercial is a full-service commitment: Each project is assigned a designated producer who will attend to the project from start to finish. In close collaboration with the agency, the production company, the director, the DP, the art director and the VFX & SFX teams, the producer will identify the best possible postproduction solutions which will then be carefully worked out, budgeted and implemented. The producer will keep an eye on the budget and scheduling and, together with the creative team, will ensure that ideas will be perfectly executed to create stunning results. Optimal support from storyboard to the final film are guaranteed.

Creative direction

Together the agency, the production company and the postproduction house plan the logistical and creative execution of all visual effects. Looks and design styleframes as well as scribbles and animatics will be created in close collaboration with the client with help of the expert support of ARRI’s in-house creative team.

Conference room

Located in our Design Atelier you can fing our  conference room. Equipped with all modern amenities, it is the perfect setting to discuss your project. Our conference room can also be booked for non-project related meetings and events.

Color grading – Baselight

We will make you the perfect look! Our “stylists” will advise you how your image looks best.

Formats: Positive and Negative Super 35mm, 35mm, 16mm and Super 16mm / high definition scanning  with Spirit Data Cine HDTV (1920 x 1080), SD (PAL, NTSC).

The Baselight TWO is a layer-based non-linear data-grading system, with the film Light Blackboard. Current Software Version 4.3

Color grading – Resolve

Resolve, the node based, non-linear data-grading system with DaVinci Control Panel, current software version 9.0.

Whether Baselight or Resolve, both systems work with GPU rendering, have an internal RAID with fast data connections with the internal online systems and operate independently of resolution (SD, HD, 2K, 4K, etc …). Both systems support a variety of input formats and KameraRAW data (QT ProRes, ARRI RAW, Weisscam, RED, …).

Offline editing

Our in-house support team offers around-the-clock technical assistance as well as numerous other services including digitization and dubbing. AVID Media Composer Adrenaline, Version 5.0 AVID Media Composer Adrenaline Mobile 2.2.3 AVID Unity Media Network 32 TB, Final Cut Version 7.0.2

Visual effects

Our team relies on Flame 2011 for the fast, flexible and timely creation of complex visual effects. Our artists will be at your side on-set and throughout the entire postproduction process until your film is completed. 2 x Discreet Flame2013 SP1 Suites, 1x Discreet Flare Assistant Station Apple Mac Pro 8-core Workstation und Assistenz.

Design Atelier

This is where graphic elements, on-air design and complete TVC are created.
We do everything to develop unique looks for you, surprising animatics, rousing layouts and stunning animations.
7 x 16-core workstations with After Effects, Creative Suite 3, 3ds Max, Apple Quad Core Workstation and assistant, 1 x Apple I Mac

Texture studio

A special effects shoot can not be better equipped.

3D

The creation of 3D animated sequences is in the capable hands of the artists at our partner company punchin.pictures. The bright and modern 160 square foot loft of punchin.pictures is but 14 steps away from ARRI. The team of artists offer character animation, fluid dynamics, rigging, texturing, lighting and modeling. Maya, Softimage XSI, Royal Renderfarm, Real Flow.

Disposition

Our scheduling team will gladly assist you with prices and rates for all transfer jobs. Our scheduling team handles all transfers (image and sound), oversees booking and delivery requirements and coordinates courier services.

Making a statement on the World Wide Web. We offer the full range of services needed to design the perfect website for you. Our designers, in collaboration with BettyMü Webstudios, take care of it all and will not only design but also publish and maintain your internet pages for you.

Our roof top has direct access to our cafeteria. It’s a standing invitation for a brain storming session. Below – the roof tops of the trendy Schwabing neighborhood. In the distance – the  alps. Up here you can relax and recharge.

Transfer

We offer services for all professional video formats in SD/HD. We handle sound transfers and produce analogue and digital broadcast quality master tapes.

Lab, Scan, Faz

Film Processing, b/w and color scanning – we cover all the needs for Lab and scan from film.

Cinema

Unique in our seamless workflow is the ARRI Cinema featuring: a 32 x 13 feet screen, state-of-the-art digital and analog projection systems and 360 comfortable seats. Here our clients can not only screen their finished film but view their work in progress, or segments thereof, at all stages of postproduction. The cinema, featuring a proper stage, can be rented for lectures.

We are located in Munich’s fashionable Schwabing neighborhood, an absolutely perfect place to relax after work. Our facility is in walking distance from an abundance of trendy cafes, restaurants and bars and near a multitude of great shopping opportunities. The famous Marienplatz and its busy surroundings are only two subway stations or a short, four minute taxi ride, away.
